Since 1979, Mr. Duholke, F.C.A. has specialized in advising professional firms and individual entrepreneurs on a broad range of taxation and related matters. He currently is a partner in Sheinin & Co., a Vancouver based professional firm that specializes in providing advice on taxation and related financial matters. His clients include public and private companies in various industries, including real estate, forestry, technology, food distribution and the service sector. In addition, Mr. Duholke has had ownership interests in a number of private and public companies operating in the cellular telephone industry, clothing manufacture and distribution and lumber remanufacturing. Mr. Duholke received a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with Distinction) from the University of Alberta and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1978.
Mr. Hodges has created and led several engineering companies that have provided reliable and innovative products and services to the electric utility industry. Design Concepts International designed and manufactured power quality reporting systems and automatic meter reading equipment for approximately 150 utilities worldwide. After the company merged with Itron Inc, he managed the ongoing operation of all telephone based meter reading and power quality monitoring products as the Vice President of Telephone Based Solutions for Itron. As the founder and president of Telemetric, he created a series of web-to-wireless communication systems for electric utilities, which are being used today to remotely monitor and control many types of distribution automation equipment throughout North America . As the founder and president of M2M Communications, Steve currently provides innovative and reliable wireless communications products and services to a variety of industries. He earned a BBA and BSEE from the University of Texas at Austin in 1978. He began his career as an engineer for Hewlett Packard.
After graduating in power engineering and mathematics, Mr. Keenan spent two years on a fellowship with GEC in the UK. His first position was Assistant Test and Operating Engineer, Wellington Power Utility, NZ. He was active in the New Zealand Institution of Engineers, where his interest in utility network reliability developed, being awarded a national prize for a paper, entitled "Underground Network Faults". Mr. Keenan then became Sales Director of Dulmison (Australia) Pty Ltd, designers and manufacturers of power line accessories. Six years later, in 1974, he founded GridSense. He has overseen the R&D to commercialisation of 5 innovative products, involving several international patents, one product receiving the Australian Electrical Development Award. He is a past Board Member of AustEnergy, responsible for promoting exports of Australian energy products in conjunction with the Government. He has visited and presented to utilities & industry conferences world wide, over many years.
Mr. Pasquale brings 26 years of diverse financial experience to the Company. He has served in various capacities including Corporate Treasurer for Chase Corporations LBO operations in New York, equity salesman with Kidder Peabody and Smith Barney in New York, portfolio manager and partner with Alve Finance in Zurich, and is currently the Managing Director for China for GFI Group, an inter-dealer broker based in New York. Mr. Pasquale earned a BS in Accounting and Finance from The University of Colorado. He is registered with The National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) as a General Securities Representative. Mr. Pasquale has been a shareholder and note holder of the Company for several years.
Mr. Shiao was a co- founder and principal of Prime Powered Holdings LLC and a main shareholder of Prime Energy Partners Ltd. He brings to GridSense a combination of financial acumen and hands-on entrepreneurial experience acquired through management roles in operating companies and activities in the financial services. As an integral member of a team from AES-New Energy, Mr. Shiao co-led the spin-off and growth management of Catalyst PowerPartners LLC as a principal and key member of the operating team. Prior to Catalyst Power, Mr. Shiao led M&A teams at Arthur Andersen supporting buy-side transactions across different industries, including manufacturing, consumer marketing & distribution, healthcare services, and real estate. Mr. Shiao earned a B.S. from the Haas Business School at the University of California at Berkeley, and is a C.P.A.
Corporate Secretary, based in Vancouver, Canada. Directly supports Corporate Affairs activities including statutory, legal and investor relations in close coordination with Mark Pasquale and Lindon Shiao. Supports initiatives of the Board of Directors, monitors Stock Option Plans, statutory filings, news releases, and financings. Brings over 9 years of entrepreneurial experience in operating a consulting business to both public and private companies in technical, biomedical, mining and forestry industries by supporting company directors and senior management with legal and administrative activities. Extensive knowledge of legal and statutory environment in Canada gained over a 13 year period with several prominent Vancouver law firms. Post secondary education in Computer Programming and ongoing CLE (Continuing Legal Education) programs.
